This art leaf pack includes 30 sheets of 14 x 14cm metallic leaf, made with a fine thickness. The sheets come in a stitched booklet with tissue paper between each one, helping keep the metal leafing sheets separated and easier to handle.

For best results, apply a thin, even coat of leaf adhesive or size to a clean surface and allow it to become tacky (30–60 minutes) before applying gold leaf. Gently smooth the leaf with a soft brush, brush away any excess, then seal with a suitable leaf sealer or oil-based varnish if extra protection is needed.

Add a golden edge to a picture frame, a touch of shimmer to a handmade card or a standout finish to your latest artwork. However you use it, this leafing pack is an easy way to give your creative projects a little extra glow.

Use with leafing size/leaf adhesive to achieve decorative metal leaf gilding effects on paintings, sculpture, leather goods, metal work, glass, picture frames and much more.

Instructions

1. Make sure your work surface is clean.
2. Use a soft brush to apply a thin, even coat of leafing size/leaf adhesive.
3. Allow size to set until tacky (usually 30–60 minutes).
4. Lift a sheet of leaf and lay it onto the sized surface.
5. Use a soft brush to gently smooth out the leaf. Brush off any excess.

Handy hint: Wear gloves to prevent leaf sticking to your hands.
